Frequently Asked QuestionsIs this torque wrench suitable for precision work?Yes, due to its low torque range, it is ideal for smaller fasteners and precision work, such as electronics or small engines. Can this wrench be used with adapters for different drive sizes?Yes, you can use adapters to fit sockets of different sizes, but ensure that torque readings remain accurate by adjusting for the added length of the adapter. What kind of a readout does the torque wrench provide? The Torque wrench scale includes both SAE and metric sizes and provides a readout in ft-lb, Nm, and in-lb.When should I use a beam torque wrench?Beam torque wrenches can be less precise than micrometer torque wrenches or electronic torque wrenches but they're great if you need a rough indication of torque or if you're tightening fasteners where precise torque isn't critical. They are also less expensive than the more precise click torque wrench or electronic torque wrench.
